BG23. Visioni per un futuro presente is an exhibition organized in 2023 in Bergamo as part of the program Bergamo Brescia Italian Capital of Culture. The exhibition reflects on the transformation of contemporary cities, bringing together architecture, environment and community through photographs, projects and visions of the urban future.
We designed the visual identity of the exhibition starting from the idea of a city in constant evolution.
The central element of the identity is a triple B, built through three overlapping volumes that reference the initials of the two cities at the heart of the project, Bergamo and Brescia. The background of yellow and white stripes recalls the visual language of construction sites and introduces the idea of a city under construction: a landscape in motion, shaped by transformation, new energies and visions for the future.
The identity extends from the exhibition communication into the public space. In the square in front of Palazzo della Libertà, we created a large urban installation: a three-dimensional B that translates the graphic sign into an architectural element, transforming the identity into a physical presence within the city.
